- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F3QCAY5067A100, is a Request for Quote. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005 ? 03. NAICS Code 238220. Place of Performance/FOB Destination: Robins AFB, GA. Solicitation is to secure a full-service Maintenance Agreement (all parts, labor and travel)for maintenance and repair services for all HVAC units, Heating/Boilers and all their controls and wiring connected to said equipment, located in Building 231. The Period of Performance is One Basic Year plus two option years, estimated date of award is 15 September 2005. Offerors are to submit contract numbers, commercial points of contact (including telephone numbers/e-mail addresses) and dollar figures for two similar contracts within the last two years. Similar contracts shall include the following experience: Maintaining commercial refrigeration and A/C systems (chillers) with multiple 70 ton or greater capacity; Maintaining complex chiller control systems that include automatic transfer of heat load between multiple (redundant) 70 ton chillers under fault conditions including all associated motors, pumps, valves, instrumentation, alarms and associated equipment under processor control which provide failsafe recovery and restoration of system functionality; Treating and correcting the chemistry of chilled water to prevent scale and corrowion, including inspecting and assaying the chemical analysis of chilled water and other treated water. Award will be made based on the lowest price of contractors who meet the qualifications above and in the Statement of Work.
