- Description
- The Naval Health Research Center Detachment, Directed Energy Bioeffects Laboratory (NHRC Det DEBL), has a need to acquire a Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) measurement system. The required system must be a three dimensional modeling system that uses a whole human model shell, including extremities, that meets the requirements for correctly and accurately collecting SAR measurements. The required model must be of standing configuration ? Head & Torso section built to accept internal probe positioner, plus pelvic section with cut-out to accept positioner mechanics and cable access slots. The system must have matching arms and legs. To include robotic probe positioner and SAR measurement system, including SAR probe(s) calibrated for use at 900 MHZ and 800 MHZ and dedicated software.
