- The contractor will provide all labor, supervision, transporation, equipment and materials to perform the following work: The work includes but is not limited to the following: Tree removal, tree stump extraction, tree stump grinding, above ground root removal, disposal of debris and tree parts (off the Naval Air Station property), repair or restoration of site damage, and any associated work required to accomplish the above listed work (i.e., temporary removal and reinstallation of fences for access; surveillance for site location of utilities, traffic control, etc.). Contract will be awarded as an IDQ contract utilizing task orders to accomplish work. All work is located at the Naval Air Station, Meridian MS 39309. The entire solicitation, including plans and specifications, is available for viewing and downloading at www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Prospective Offerors MUST register themselves on the web site. The official plan holder's list will be maintained and can be printed from the web site. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFEROR’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. Technical Inquiries must be submitted in writing prior to 25 August 2005, to ROICC, 427 Allen Road, Naval Air Station, Meridian, MS 39309, or faxed to (601) 679-2147, Attn: Lisa Harris or emailed at lisa.harris1@navy.mil The estimated date for Receipt of Quotations is 30 August 2005. The estimated price range is under $100,000.00. The period of contract performance is 365 calendar days with 1 possible one-year option. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this Solicitation is 561730. This solicitation is 100% Set Aside for small business concerns.
