- Description
- The solicitation notice is issued to obtain commercial sources qualified and interested in providing a commercial item proposal prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 13 to provide school bus services for approximately 900 children. The contractor shall provide and maintain the required number of school buses to transport, conveniently and safely, any and all students under the provision of the contract. The performance period is beginning on or about 26 August 2005 and ending on 30 September 2005 with four, one year option periods with the first starting 1 Oct 2005 and running through 30 September 2006. The final option period will run from 1 October 2008 till on or about 1 June 2009. The solicitation will be as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification Code is 485410 and the Small Business Size Standard is $6 million. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 27 May 2005. The solicitation may be obtained by downloading through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) (Vendor). Hard copies will not be available. Offerors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), online at http://www.ccr.gov. Only one contract will be awarded. Performance price trade-off procedures will be used with past performance being more important than price.
