- Description
- The IRS has a requirement for lease/maintenance of postage meters nationwide. The requirements include technology updates, routine preventive maintenance and remedial maintenance services, and supplies. Multiple IDIQ contracts are anticipated with Delivery/Task Orders issued against the contracts. The multiple award contracts will be issued for a base year with four, one-year options. The requirement is unrestricted for commercial services and supplies. FAR Part 12 and 15 will be applicable. A sub-contracting plan is included for large businesses. Requests for the solicitation must be in writing to the above address or via FAX 972-308-1928 or via email to Vica.M.Mowery@irs.gov. Telephone requests will not be honored. The solicitation will be available on or after September 16, 2005. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) by the date for receipt of proposals.
