Description: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to place an order with Industrial Knife for 5,000 each First Blade, size 28.78 by 2 by .015, 1095 hardened blue steel used for Presses. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 and 13.106-1. The resulting purchase order shall not exceed the simplified purchase threshold. The procedures set forth in FAR 13.106 shall be used. See numbered note 22.
