- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Coahoma Community College, Clarksdale, MS, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This action is 100% set-aside for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Institutions (MIs) in accordance with Executive Order 12928 of September 16, 1994. The Statement of Work for educational support services provides details of the Ocean Science Mentoring Program. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract will be firm fixed-price. NAICS Code 611710 and Business Size of $6.0M applies. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
