- PIXs Notice: The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) (iii). This announcement closes at 1:00 PM (EST) on 26 August 2005. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation number is FA8601-05-T-0209, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334290, Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 3669 (size standard 750 employees). The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). The proposed source is Whelen Engineering Company, Inc.,Chester Connecticutt 06412. The items being procured are: 2 each Model VA2000UN, Alertmonitor 2 each Model P2010UN, Portable Test Set Any quotations should be faxed to Ms Jacque Davis, 88 CONS/PKB, 937-656-1412 or, 937-257-3936, or e-mailed to Jacqueline.Davis@wpafb.af.mil no later than 1:00 PM (EST) on 26 August 2005.
