- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to award a sole source purchase order to the Tribal Technical Assistance Program at Colorado State University to co-sponsor the 2005 Annual National Tribal Transportation Conference to be held in Scottsdale, Arizona in November 2005. The National Tribal Roads Conference is a national conference initiated and planned by the Tribal Technical Assistance Program. The conference consists of general session and workshop sessions on technical and program issues. The National Tribal Roads Conference provides tribal leader, tribal transportation officials, FHWA Headquarters and Division Office staff the opportunity to discuss a broad range of program and technical issues. Because the Tribal Technical Assistance Program plans and coordinates the conference they are only source that can provide this service. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is on or about August 30, 2005.
