- In accordance with the requirements of Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), this public announcement is hereby issued to declare the intention of the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) to increase the contract cost ceiling for purchase of additional software object code licenses and travel expenses, on a single source basis to Sunhillo Corporation of West Berlin, New Jersey, under existing contract DTFACT-04-C-00002. Sunhillo is the singular owner of the software object code for the licenses being purchased. Therefore, Sunhillo is the only contractor available for purchase of the required licenses. Travel requirements on the above referenced contract have increased substantially past what was originally intended at contract inception. This is due to NAS modernization programs that have required changes to the En Route Communications Gateway (ECG). Travel is required to each of the FAA's 20 ARTCC's and other parts of the country to support these changes. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement.
