- 1. The Coronado National Forest, Tucson, Arizona, is soliciting quotes (RFQ) for the supply and delivery, FOB Destination, of a native seed mix, certified noxious weed free in fifty pound bags. Delivery is to Nogales Ranger Station, 303 Old Tucson Rd., Nogales, Arizona 85621, approximately 65 mile from Tucson, Arizona on Friday, September 2, 2005. 2. Quotes are to be submitted to Coronado National Forest, Room 5F, 300 W. Congress, Tucson, AZ 85701 or faxed to Alix Ellis at (520) 388-8332 by 3:00 P.M. MST, Wednesday, August 24, 2005. 3. Note: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in [FAR] Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 4. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 01-24. 5. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 424910 and the size standard is 500 employees. 7. Required Delivery by: Friday, September 2, 2005; 8. Schedule of Supplies and Services: Supply and deliver in fifty pound bags seed mix composed of the following: the mix will have 3,600 lbs of Sideoats Gama (Bouteloua curtipendula) approximately 30%, 1,800 lbs of Blue Grama (Bouteloua gracilis) approximately 15%, 240 lbs of Rothrock Grama (Bouteloua rothrockii) approximately 2%, 1,440 lbs of Green Sprangletop (Leptochloa dubia) approximately 12%, 1,920 lbs of Indian Wheat (Plantago insularis) approximately 16%, 1,320 lbs of Alkali Sacaton (Sporobolis airoides) approximately 11%, 1,320 lbs of Sand Dropseed (Sporobolis cryptandra) approximately 11%, and 360 lbs of Small-flowered Fescue (Vulpia microstachys) approximately 3%. Application density shall be 56 seeds per square foot over 4,000 acres total. At 6 pls pounds per acre, the total pure live seed weight is approximately 12,000 pounds. Quoter who receives award for this procurement must provide certifications that state pure live seed percentages and noxious weed free status of seed lots within 24 hours of notification of award. 8.
