Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/home AFTER Estimated Date. From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles (C&T) as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with an Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free software is available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. DSCP has developed a web-based system that allows manufacturers the ability to request specifications, patterns and drawings on our contracting page. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment? impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies. This will be an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract with four option terms. This solicitation will include Best Value Source Selelction procedures with revised quantities (minimum/maximum)as follows: Man's All Weather Coat: Base(min/max): 16,980/28,290; Option years 1 through 4: 18,640/31,060. The revised quantities for the Woman's All Weather Coat are as follows: Base year: 450/750; Option year one: 1,130/1,890; Option Year two: 1,160/1,940; Option Year 3: 1,380/2,300 and Option year four: 1,480/2,470. A technical proposal including Product Demonstration Modesl, Past Performance/Experience, Bill and Hold, Socioeconomic Considerations, Mentoring Business Agreement and Javits-Wagner-O'Day (JWOD) are included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be unrestricted. No GFM will be furnished; all materials in the production of these items will be furnished by the contractor. FOB Destination pricing applies.
