- Soliciation number SP4400-06-R-0004 is a proposed service contract for all non-personal services necessary for the removal, transportation and disposal of hazardous materials and waste at DRMOs Lejeune, Ft Bragg, Cherry Point and surrounding areas. This is a firm-fixed indefinite quantities Small Business set-a-side. This will be a single award. The NAICS Code is 562211. The contract period will be for an 18-month base period and two 18-month options. Performance will be requested by issuance of written tasks orders against the basic contract. SP4400-06-R-0004 will be issued on or about September 13, 2005. Approximate closing will be October 13, 2005. Qualifications: Perspective contractors and subcontractors must meet all Federal,state and local laws, ordinances and regulations governing disposal of hazardous materials and environmental protection. Per FAR 52.237-1, SITE VISIT, Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site(s) where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site(s) constitute grounds for claim after contract award. Prior to award, awardee must be registered in the DoD Central Contract Registration per DFAR 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION.
