- This is a combined synopsis /request for quote (rfq) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only request for quote that will be issued for the requirements set forth below; quotations are being requested to be delivered not later than 12:00 PM on Friday, August 18 2005. The NAICS code is 238990 and the small business size standard is $12 million dollars. Request for Quote (RFQ) 75197. The United States Secret Service (USSS) has a requirement for a delivery, set-up and removal of tents in the New York City area. The Contractor will be required to deliver the following: Item 0001- Quantity of two (2), 9x10 tents with three (3) sides; Item 0002-Quantity of two (2) 20x40 tents with two (2) sides; Item 0003-Quantity of six (6) 9x10 tents with three (3) sides; Item 0004- Quantity of one (1) light for every 10 square ft. (2) lights for each small tent and four (4) lights for the big tents. Delivery sites will be coordinated with the awardee. For bidding purposes, all offerors should propose for delivery to various locations in and around 1st Avenue and 48th Street, New York City, New York. All deliveries and set-up will be required on Monday, September 12, 2005. All tents will be required to be removed by Friday, September 26, 2005.
