Description
This is a modification to the combined synopsis/solicitation to change the closing date to August 16, 2005 at 4:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the purchase of commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are requested; however, a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W911S8- 05-Q-0014 is applicable and is issued as a request for quotations. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. This requirement is UNRESTRICTED with a NAICS Code of 443112, and a size standard of 500. The description of the commercial item is for a Projection System for the IOF Conference Room (See Statement of Work below) and reads as follows: CLIN 0001, 1 each, Base System includes: 3 Ceiling Mounted Projectors, Lectern, Table, Equipment Rack, Audio System and Microphones, Includes Installation. CLIN 0002, 1 each, 12 foot by 4 foot Conference Room Table with Laptop Connections. CLIN 0003, 1 each, New Glass Screen for Replacement of Existing Rear Screen. CLIN 0004, 1 each, Rear S creen Smart Board for use with OFE PC or Laptop. Delivery time shall be no later than September 23, 2005, and Installation shall be within two (2) weeks after receipt of items to Fort Lewis, WA 98433-9500. Any award resulting from this request for quotatio ns will be made to a responsive, responsible quoter using a SF1449 form. Quotes will be evaluated on low price, technically acceptable basis. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. An addendum to this pr ovision is applicable, in which the term offeror, whenever it appears, shall be replaced with the term quoter. FAR clause 52.111-4133, Commercial Vehicle Access to Fort Lewis applies to this acquisition. Quoters are required to submit completed copies of t he provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, and DFAR 252.212-7000,Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their quotes. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and does not include any addenda. Far clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following clauses within 52.212- 5 are applicable to this acquisition: 52.203-6, 52.219-8, 52.219-14, 52222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222.21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-39, 52.225-13, 52.232-33. DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statute s or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items are applicable, to include under paragraph (a) 52.203-3. Also include 252.225-7001, 252.225-7012, 252.225-7014, 252.225-7015, 252.225-7036, 252.232-7003, 252.243-7002, 252.247-70 23, and 252.247-7024. Quotes are due on August 16, 2005 at 4:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time. Quotes must be sent electronically along with the completed representations and certifications, providing the business size, e-mail address, Dunn and Bradstreet number, CAGE code and Federal Tax ID number. Quoters must be registered in the C entral Contractor Registration database at www.ccr.gov to be considered for contract award. The combined synopsis/solicitation will be available for download from the Fort Lewis Contracting Office web site at http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc. STATEMENT OF WOR K FOR UPGRADE TO INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS FACILITY CONFERENCE ROOM CURRENT CONFERENCE ROOM SPECIFICATIONS: The conference room in the Intelligence Operations Fa cility is 36 feet X 25 feet X 10 feet. The current video conferencing equipment a Tandberg 6000 is on a cart with camera and speakers on the cart as well. The image is displayed on two rear screen projectors. The upgrade required is to add two interactiv e pen displays for presentations to large or small groups. The display screen must be able to connect to a laptop or PC and a projector to show an image. Touch screen technology is required to control applications/notes. The pen displays must accommoda te either two PCs or two laptops. Additionally a lectern that will accommodate a VCR/DVD player, satellite TV equipment is required. New microphones for the VTC system and microphones within the room from the lectern are also required. The rear screen in the conference room must also be replaced. An equipment rack is required to be placed in the rear projection room. The following equipment is necessary: INSTALLATION IS REQUIRED. 1. Two side projectors 4000 lumens XGA projectors. 2. One central projector 6 000 lumens, SXGA. 3. Lectern (smart technology) capable of having either two PCs or two laptops connected to it. A touch control panel is required to control microphones as well as ability to control AV connections. 4. Connection devices on the conference table to have the capability of connecting either two laptops or two PCs as well as microphones. 5. An equipment rack capable of handling: VCR/DVD player. Amplifier, mixer and audio processor, surge protector, and Tandberg 6000. 6. An audio system to run the PCs, VCR/DVD player, satellite receiver and VTC system through. Shall include an audio processor, amplifier with sound amplified through two speakers and enhanced with a subwoofer. Ceiling speakers are also required. 7. Microphones required are: two table mounted with MUTE capability, gooseneck microphone for the lectern, ceiling mounted microphones routed through the Tandberg 6000. 8. A remote control system with a 12 inch color, LCD touch screen - table mounted. 9. A conference table that has the c apability of connecting microphones and PC/laptops to it. 10. Replacement of the rear screen. 11. Requirement is for an interactive white board with an integrated system that includes internal computer, projector, screen, sound system and touch control. Must be able to share information between the internal computer and a laptop and other devices. White board should be mounted in a lockable cabinet.
