- The Directorate of Contracting is soliciting proposals to provide all resources and management necessary to inspect, test, certify, and repair truck mounted, aerial lifting equipment at Ft. Bragg, NC. The requirement includes seven truck mounted aer ial lifting equipment, to be inspected, tested, certified, and repaired quarterly. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price service contract. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for Small Business Concerns only. The North American Industry Classi fication System (NAICS) code is 811310. The size standard is $6 Million. It is now a requirement that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), which is available on-line a t http://;www.ccr.gov/. Upon release to the public, the solicitation shall be available via the Internet at web site: http://www.bragg.army.mil/www-doc/Conractors/SOLICIT.HTM. Bidders are responsible for routinely checking this web-site for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. No individual notification of any amendment will be provided. The performance period includes a base year with four one-year option periods. The projected solicitation date is 25 August 2005, with proposals du e 12 Sept 2005. The issue date and date for receipt of proposals is estimated. Proposal due date and time will be included in the solicitation.
