- Description
- The National Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health, is seeking small businesses with the capabilities to receive and house rodents, euthanize rodents, and flash freeze and store various rodent tissues. The full statement of work, technical evaluation criteria, and quality assurance surveillance plan for this project are attached. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) and does not commit the government to award a contract now or in the future. No RFP is available at this time. Small business concerns that believe they possess the capability necessary to undertake the work described in the statement of work should submit an original and two (2) copies of their capability statement to the address shown above by May 4, 2005. Electronic copies of capability statements will also be accepted and can be emailed to: cyrush@od.nih.gov The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 541710. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies outlined in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the Contract Specialist their interest and capability to satisfy the Governments requirement with a commercial item within 15 calendar days of this notice.
