- Description
- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Mid-Continent Ecology Division, 6201 Congdon Boulevard, Duluth, Minnesota, requires Loading Dock improvements. The General Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, hardware, and documentation necessary to complete the project. The project consists of (1) Removal, Demolition, Cutting and Patching, (2) Earthwork/Fill, (3) Asphaltic Paving, (4) Cast-in-Place Concrete, (5) Miscellaneous Metals (Fasteners), (6) Cold Fluid-Applied Waterproofing, (7) Special Flooring, (8) Painting, and (9) Loading Dock Equipment. This project also has an Alternate for Methane Concrete Coating Over Existing Loading Dock and Replacement of Existing Door Thresholds. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. Contract award will be made using best value methodology. Two evaluation factors will be used: Past Performance and Price. The evaluation factors will be approximately equal in importance. The anticipated contract performance period is 60 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. The estimated price of the work is under $80,000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency. All prospective offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration system in order to be eligible for contract award. The solicitation with specifications, drawings, and site visit information, will be released through the internet on EPA?s home page at www.epa.gov/oam/cinn_cmd/. The anticipated solicitation release date is approximately 15 calendar days after the electronic posting date of this notice. No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided.
