- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Manalytics International of San Francisco, CA. The contractor will provide an assessment of the commercial and operational viability of available technologies in the Department of Homeland Security Advanced Container Security Device (ACSD) program, and an economic analysis of the available technologies, for an interim capability in advance of ACSD called the Container Security Device. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Use of any other contractor would result in substantial duplication of costs and delays for the Government based on the specialized knowledge and experience of Manalytics developed under previous competitive procurements. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals.
