Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood the FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. This announcement constitutes the only Request for Quote; quotes are being requested and a written Request for Quote will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N00178-05-Q-1249. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure 2 each Analog Recorders. Specification requirements for the analog recorders are as follows: Rack mount unit; Recorder must contain own internal built-in Mux which supports four analog channels and four digital (clock & data) simultaneously. Each analog channel must sample from 1 to 40 MSPS. Each digital channel can sample from 0 to 40 Mb/sec. The relative timing must be better than 1 Microsecond. The absolute timing must be better than 10 microseconds. The system must be configured with at least three 36GB disk drives. Recorder must be locally controlled using the intuitive front panel (REC, STOP, PLAY) or remotely controlled using RS-232. The system must include archive/restore support. The recorder must have aggregate bandwidth of at least 528 Mb/sec. Dimensions not to exceed 4 inches x 19 inches x 25 inches. Weight not to exceed 30 lbs. Must be able to handles temperature range from 0 deg C! elsius to 45 degrees Celsius. Power input 95 to 120 VAC with AC capable of handling at least 50 to 62 HZ. Must have control status display. Must have front control capability from front panel. The NAICS Code is: 334290, with a 750 employee size standard. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination to Dahlgren VA by 30 September 2005. This procurement will be issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The order will be a firm fixed price. All quotes shall include all such information to enable the Government to make its determination that the item(s) proposed meet all of the requirements stated above. If proposing under your GSA schedule, please provide your GSA schedule number on your quote. Interested parties must be able to demonstrate in writing their capability to meet the specifications above by August 29, 2005 at 2:00pm (EST.) with estimated award made by 01 September 2005.
