Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Central California Area Office intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm-fixed price contract for trash collection and disposal at New Melones Recreation area, Sonora, California. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332312. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to collect and dispose of all solid waste. Excluded from this function is the collection and disposal of 1) Hazardous wastes; 2) solids or dissolved materials in domestic sewage; 3) other pollutants in water resources such as silt and dissolved or suspended solids; and 4) infectious wastes. 1) Thirty (30) bins at the Tuttletown Recreation Area, Tuolumne County; 2) One (1) bin at the Administration Building Area, Tuolumne County; 3) Two (2) bins at the New Melones Powerhouse and Dam, Tuolumne County; and 4) Additional bins or haulings throughout New Melones Recreation Areas, Tuolumne County. It is anticipated that the RFQ, statement of work will be posted to http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 26, 2005. The estimated date for receipt of quotes is on or about September 26, 2005. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
