- See Numbered Note No. 27. Work consists of (1) construction of a two-lane temporary detour with Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP) and riprap outlet protection; (2) installation of two 42 inch Reinforced Concrete Pipes (RCP) under Fairway Lane with segment al walls and stone inlet and riprap outlet protection; (3) removal of one 48 inch Corrugated Metal Pipe from under Fairway Lane; (4) restoration of Fairway Lane; (5) removal of detour, associated culvert and riprap outlet protection and restoration of area affected by detour to its original condition; (6) restoration of lawn used by staging area to its original condition. Work involves protecting existing sewer lines and water lines and existing power pole. Any damage to Fairway Lane caused by constructio n operations shall be repaired. Borrow material by laboratory classification is micaceous silt or ML with average dry density and optimum moisture content of approximately 101.5 lbs/cubic foot and 17.8% respectively. Prospective Contractors should visit the site prior to submitting proposals. All work shall be completed within sixty (60) days of Notice to Proceed. The magnatude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required. The Solicitation will be prov ided in a printed hard copy form. Electronic medium for the Solicitation will not be allowed. All requests for a copy of the Solicitation shall be addressed to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, P.O. Box 1890, Wilmington, NC., 28402 and/or faxed to 910-251-44 54, ATTN: Annie Scott. All requests shall include the Solicitation number, W912PM-05-T-0041, an Offeror point of contact, address and phone/FAX number of the prospective Offeror. The Solicitation will be issued on or about August 29, 2005. The NAICS cod e for this requirement is 238910.
