Description
Contractor to provide maintenance and repair services on a "per call" basis for environmental test equipment located at Picatinny Arsenal. The equipment is used to provide temperature conditioning for environmental testing generally in the range of -100 degrees F to +200 degrees F. The type of repairs anticipated include but are not limited to, repair refrigerant leaks, recharge system, replace belts, replace and/or repair failed seals, valves, electrical components refrigeration components and assemblies so that the systems operate in a reliable manner. Any proposed contractor must have trained personnel, be recognized as a commercial/industrial specialist and possess his/her own tools and equipment to perform the maintenance work. Contractor's response time must be within two working days of receipt of notification and all repairs shall be completed within five working day's. In some cases, service must be initiated within the hour. Environmental Compliance: All work performed must be in compliance with Federal, State, and local environmental laws and regulations, Executive Orders, treaties and agreements. A list of the equipment to be maintained is provided in the solicitation. A copy of the solicitation may be obtained at the following web site: http://procnet.pica.army.mil Inspection and acceptance shall be performed by the Government Contracting Officer's Rep. The deadline for all proposals is 22 August 2005. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database by accessing the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov in order to be eligible for contract award. The period of performance shall be one year from date of award and will contain two one-year Options, to be exercised at the Government's discretion. Offerors should submit their proposal by the offer due date/time delineated in Block 8 on Standard Form 1449. All proposals must contain the information required by the solicitation and be in Microsoft Word format with cost and pricing data, for the first year and options years, in Excell format. Proposals may be submitted electronically, additional information on how to submit electronic proposals may be found at http://procnet.pica.army.mil/. Electronic submittals must be addressed to, hbuck@pica.army.mil . Offerors submitting proposals electronically are still required to provide a hard copy, with CD to the address shown in the solicitation. Confirmation of receipt of transmission by the Government by the date/time specified for receipt of proposals is the responsibility of the offeror. NOTE #1 applies. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
