- This acquisition is to establish a requirements contract for the following item. Item 0001 NSN: 3655-00-540-2733, P/N: AFM32R3, NOUN: Compressed gas Trailer. FUNC: Furnish a bulk source of gaseous oxygen for servicing aircraft as high pressure system, low pressure system, purge operation in maintenance of LOX system, capsulated and/or emergency system. The capacity of the trailer is eight storage cylinders and, together with the flow controlling mechanism, can be towed to the charging site and, by means of flexible servicing hoses and filler adapters, the system can be serviced. The trailer is designed to adequately transport the eight oxygen cylinders over semi-rough terrain via a lunette ring. The basic quantity is 36 each. A first article is required for all manufacturers, except those who have completed a contract (for the Government) for this item in the last 60 months. There will be four (4) annual options: option I and II are for a quantity of ten (10) each, options III and IV are for a quantity of twelve (12) each. The Estimated Total Quantity is 80 each. Mil-Std: Mil-T-26069C (USAF) applies. Tentative Destination: Robins AFB GA 31098, Delivery is three (3) months after receipt of order. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. An RFP will follow. The estimated award date is 30 September 2005. This Requirement is 100% set aside for small business. Award will be made on an (All or None) basis. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency.
