- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Herley CTI, 9 Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ 07981 to provide 18 Fixed PDRO Oscillators and 1 Tunable Local Oscillator. These oscillators are to be incorporated into an in-house satellite terminal design for delivery of a DoD customer. The satellite terminal design mandates that it be specifically matched to, and fully interchangeable with, ground station hardware that will be used by the customer in conjunction with the satellite terminals we fabricate at Rome. The existing ground station hardware is based on the above Herley-CTI PDRO and BBS series of oscillators, and these same oscillators must therefore be used in the satellite terminals we are building under the present effort. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS code is 334515. This procurement shall be awarded for using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
