The purpose of this amendment is to post responses to questions: All other terms and conditions remain the same. Solicitation SB1341-05-Q-0912 Response to Questions Received As of August 11, 2005 1. Question 1. Is this a request for equipment or services? Ans. This is a request for services as requested in the Solicitation. 2. Question 2. Are there any other documents available providing parameters to the proposal submittal? Ans. All information is published in the Solicitation. 3. Question 3. In the solicitation synopsis is the statement "all vendors shall submit...copies of a proposal which addresses the requested services..." Are the requested services referring to the listed tasks? Ans. The services requested are specifically outlined in the Solicitation under C. Contractor Requirements, E. Reporting Requirements and Deliverables. The remainder of the Solicitation cannot be excluded from consideration; it describes proposal procedures, background information, and purpose of work request. 4. Question 4. Is past performance information required? Ans. Relevant past performance is always good to include in any proposal. 5. Question 5. Is this for a firm-fixed price contract? Ans. The Government’s intention is to award a firm fixed price to the proposal that represents the best value to the Government.
