- Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard &IMF intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract N32253-07-C-0001 to small business Guam Industrial Services, INC. (dba Guam Shipyard), P.O. Box 13010 (NAVACTS), Bldg-20 COMNAVMAR, Santa Rita, Guam, 96915-3010, for the Phased Maintenance Availability (PMA) repair, maintenance and alteration modifications of the USS FRANK CABLE (AS-40). This work is scheduled to be performed in Guam from about 8 January 2007 through about 27 April 2007. Prime contractor must be Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) qualified for contract award and performance. Job is estimated to be approximately 15,000 contractor man-days of effort for this PMA. Contractor work will be performed in conjunction with and concurrent to PHNSY&IMF public work force efforts. Work Specifications have not yet been developed. Work will be performed at Polaris Point, COMNAVMARIANAS, Apra Harbor, Guam. Non-U.S. Citizens are prohibite! d from working access to the naval vessel and adjacent pier-side worksite for this repair availability. As the Government intends to solicit and negotiate sole source only with GSY, this synopsis is for information purposes only and the benefit of potential subcontractors.
