Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Water Resource District in Coram, New York intends to make award on a sole source basis to Stolar Research Corporation. The Water Research District has a requirement for a Multi-frequency Crosswell Radio Imaging System which has the capability to detect subsurface geological structures, such as large fractures, air voids, and the presence of conductive fluids in formation. Prior to award, Stolar will provide a two-day demonstration to test the equipment and its capabilities. The anticipated award date is 08/25/2005. The NAICS code is 334511. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. No additional synopsis will be published. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
