Description

The National Business Center has a requirement to move its Information Technology Operations branch, which is currently located on approximately 1200 square feet of raised floor in Room 100, building 7301. The environment (i.e. air conditioning and humidity) in room 100, building 7301 is individually controlled, separate from the normal building environment. New IT requirements have made it impractical to keep the Operations Branch in its current location. The servers and racks for the new IT requirements must be placed on raised floor for cabling and environmental reasons. The only available space for the new requirements is the 1200 square feet of raised floor where the Operations Branch is currently located. Prior to installing the new equipment required, the Operations Branch must be relocated to Room 275, building 7301. However, the environmental situation in room 275, building 7301 must be configured in a like manner to room 100, building 7301. Room 275 requires equipment to be installed in order to have the required separate environmental controls. See the RFQ No. NBCQ05536 FOR MORE DETAILED INFORMATION.
