- HQ AMC/A34YR anticipates issuing an RFP on or about 1 Oct 05 for Air Terminal and Ground Handling Services for Air Mobility Command at two locations in Korea (Gunsan AB and Gimhae ROKAF.) The contractor shall act as an AMC liaison and provide technical support, personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials and other items and services. The contractor shall work all United States Government owned or operated aircraft and US sponsored foreign government aircraft requiring ground handling services, facilitate on-time aircraft departures, and load and unload cargo from government owned or contracted conveyances. The contractor will be required to have a facility clearance. The period of performance is 1 Apr 06 through 30 Sep 06 with four one-year option periods. This requirement was previously solicited under RFP FA4428-05-R-0004 on 1 Feb 05 and subsequently cancelled on 31 Mar 05. Pre-proposal conferences/site visits were held at both locations in March 2005. Minutes of these meetings are available to prospective offerors upon request. Additional pre-proposal conferences will not be held. Information regarding additional site visits (if required) will be provided in the RFP. All responsible sources may submit offers which shall be considered by the agency.
