Description

Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for a CORE impaction Drill package to Buffalo Supply, Inc., 1650 A Coal Creek Drive, Lafayette, CO 80026-8867. The CORE Drill System is necessary for the 55th Medical Group to satisfy mission requirements. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because Buffalo Supply is the only authorized distributor for Stryker, the manufacturer of the CORE Drill System. This system is the only one compatible with the existing equipment in the hospital. The procurement of the drill package must be completed in a timely manner in order to meet mission requirements.
