Description

The Contractor shall provide all the necessary personnel, equipment and material to perform tree trimming, pruning, shaping and debris removal at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, 2177 Puowaina Dr., Honolulu, HI 96813-1729. The performance period is 60 calendar days. Subject to the availability of funds. This acquisition is 100 % set aside for award to service disabled veterans owned small businesses (SDVOSB). Offers or quotations from other than SDVOSB will not be considered and shall be rejected. Definitions - As used in the Solicitation: "Service -Disabled Veterans Owned Small Business" (1) Means a small business concern - (i) With not less than 51 percent of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of any publicly owned business, not less than 51 percent of the stock of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans; and (ii) The management and daily business operations of which are controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of a veteran with permanent and severe disability, the spouse or permanent caregiver of such veteran. (2) Service-Disabled veteran means a veteran, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101 (2), with a disability that is service connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(16). The NAICS Code is 561730 and the size standard is $6 million. The solicitation will be available for downloading on or about August 25, 2005. All requests for printed copies of the solicitation must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer. No telephone requests will be accepted.
