Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, Florida, is seeking a contractor to provide Computer Applications and Microsoft Office XP Vocational Training to the inmate population of the Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, Florida. The contractor must be a qualified teacher, certified by any State Department of Education and have experience and knowledge in teaching computer applications and Microsoft Office XP. The contractor will provide classroom instruction and on the job live work training to provide the skills necessary for the students to perform a Computer Applications and Microsoft Office XP Functions Certification Program. The resulting contract will be for a base period, not to exceed twelve months, with two one year option periods to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government. The number of one hour sessions is estimated at 1086, depending on the actual date of award and availability of funds. The solicitation will be available on or around August 17, 2005 and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed unless determined by the contracting officer to be in the best interest of the government. Future information about this acquisition, including any amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 611420. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit an offer that will be considered for award. Faith Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns
