- The Virginia Contracting Activity (VaCA), on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), intends to award a firm fixed price contract(s) for the following item: 45 EACH - Tandberg 1500 MXP Base Model (2 Mbps IP only) Part #113920. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTE WILL NOT BE ISSUED. You may reference number HHM402-05-Q-0229. The provisions and clauses, identified in this announcement, are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220 and small business size standard is 750. All vendors are put on notice that Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 15.208 is applicable. The Tandberg 1500 MXP Base Model (2 Mbps IP only) Part #113920) must be delivered, FOB Destination to the Logistics Applications Inc.; 3300 75th Ave. Rear Entrance; Landover, MD 20785 not later than thirty (30) days from date of the award of the contract. The following FAR provisions/clauses apply to this RFQ, and offerors are REQUIRED TO COMPLETE these clauses where applicable and submit with the quote: 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items (Oct 2000); The Government reserves the right to award to the quoter with the lowest price ---- IMPORTANT ? The Government may award a contract based on quotes received, without discussions with quoters); 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Item (Mar 2001) (Note: IMPORTANT --- Quoters MUST include in their response to this quotation a FULL and COMPLETE copy of their responses to the provisions at FAR 52.213-3); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items (Mar 2001); 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Item (Feb 2001) with the following applicable clauses for paragraph (b): FAR Part 52.219-26, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, 52.232-33, 52.232-34. In addition, the following clause will be included in the resultant contract: 52.999-4100, Payment Address. Responses to the request are due by 2:00 P.M., Thursday, 11 August 2005. Vendors may submit their quotes on the Standard Form (SF) 1449 or on company letterhead stationery. Responses may be sent via electronically (Internet) to Ida.batson@dia.mil or facsimile (202) 231-2831. Telephone requests will not be honored. Vendors are hereby put on notice if their response is submitted via electronically (Internet) or facsimile and received after 2:00 P.M., it is late (e.g. if the quoter began his facsimile or electronic transmission at 1:50 P.M. and the last page is received by the facsimile machine or computer at 2:01 P.M., the quote is late). Vendor must provide only the items described herein; no substitutions of components will be accepted. A single award will be made resulting from this combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items.
