- JOB DESCRIPTION: The Contractor will provide all labor, material, equipment and travel to perform monthly streamflow measurements and maintenance at specified gaging and climatological stations within the Central California area. The streamflow gag ing stations are located in the Sacramento River, San Joaquin River and Tulare Lakebed basins. The climatological stations are located at sites within the Sacramento and San Francisco Corps projects in Central California. The contract will be for a one y ear base period with four one year options, each option year at the Governments discretion. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC Code: B599 SIC Code: 8999 NAICS Code: 541990. The size standard for this code is $6,000,000. TYPE OF AWARD: This Request for Proposal (RFP) is a Small Business Set-Aside, and all responsible small businesses may respond. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 23 Aug 2005. All responses to the RFP should be received within 3 0 days of the release of the solicitation. Receipt date and time will be provided in the solicitation document. ORDERING SOLICITATION: The solicitation for this project will be available for downloading on the Sacramento District Contracting Division Internet Home Page at http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/ . Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be avail able for download from this web site. REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION IN ANY OTHER FORMAT THAN WHAT IS ADVERTISED WILL BE DISREGARDED. It is important that you first go to this web site and under contract division home page, click on the adverti sed solicitation you are interested in. Go to plan holders registration. This will require you to establish a user name and password. Keep the user name and password and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for registering your firm on plan holders lists. With our new system you only have to do the full registration one time. If you have your user name and password, you can always go back into the system and register for other jobs without having to go through the entire r egistration process. However, you can only do this by using your initial user name and password. In order to receive notification of any amendments to the solicitation you are required to register for the plan holders list. Please complete all requested information. The solicitation should be available for download within approximately 15 days of this announcement. From there click on SACRAMENTO District, then it will take you to list of advertised solicitations and then from there click on the desired solicitation number. And at the bottom of this page, there is a bar that says download/view solicitation f iles. Select plans or specs from the drop down box and press go button. This will take you to the next page, then from there click on the file name and download. All small business responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by t he agency. Please note that all contractors and potential contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database, effective 31 May 1998.
