- Description
- The Vicksburg District Army Corps of Engineers proposes to enter into a Cost-Plus-Award-Fee contract wherein the contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, fuel, supplies, transportation, supervision, and management to inspect, operate, maintain, repair, and rehabilitate flood control facilities and features located at Ouachita, Greeson and Degray Lakes in the State of Arkansas. This requirement is 100% set-aside for competition among firms certified by the Small Business Administration as 8(a) f irms. All responsible 8(a) certified small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. It is the Governments intent to award one contract as a result of this solicitation. This award will result in a Cost-Plus-Award-Fee type contrac t for a base year with four one-year option periods. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal is determined to provide the best value to the Government, considering technical, past performance and cost evaluation factors. It is the Go vernments intent to make award without discussions. If award is not made on initial offers, discussions will be conducted with all offerors in the competitive range in accordance with FAR Part 15. The Request For Proposals (RFP), W912EE-05-R-0010, will b e issued on or about 24 August 2005, with a closing date for receipt of proposals on or about 27 September 2005. The RFP will be available at the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office (VCCO) web page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract, the FedB izOps site at http://www.eps.gov, and the Army Single Face to Industry site at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ . Hard copies will not be available. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the web page for the release of the Solicitation (and ame ndments, if any). Interested parties who complete the voluntary registration for the Solicitation on the VCCO website will receive automated email notification if and when amendments are issued. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading thei r own copy of the Solicitation and any amendments. The NAICS Code and Size standard are 561210 and $30 Million, respectively.
