- The Army Contracting Agency (ACA), Directorate of Contracting (DOC), Fort Carson intends to award a sole source contract for Medical Evacuation Services to FLIGHT FOR LIFE SAINT ANTHONY HOSPITAL DBA FLIGHT FOR LIFE COLORADO, an non-profit organizatio n, on a non-dedicated, fee-for-service basis. The authority for this contract action is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source is available in the Colorado Springs area capable of meeting the response time and capabili ty requirements necessary to provide a viable MEDEVAC solution. The period of performance for this contract is a 1 year base period of performance plus four 1 year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this pro curment is 481211 with a size standard of 1500 employees.
