Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. Funds are not currently available for this requirement. No award will be made unless funding becomes available. 45 CONS/LGCB has an unfunded requirement for a recurring hydraulic Barrier inspection and maintenance system. The required services include inspection of traffic/indicating lights, cleanup check of equipment operation, inspection of hydraulic system, check of hoses and fluid levels and check around barrier and channel drain. The manufacture of the system is Nasatka, the model of the system is (I UNIT) NMBS VII-D & (2 UNITS) VII-A. A service contract will be issued for a base year plus four option years. A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR 10 AUGUST 2005 AT 10am. POC FOR THE SITE VISIT IS 1LT DAVID BAUMANN, PHONE 321-494-6946. ADDITIONAL SITE VISIT MAY BE ARRANGED AS NEEDED WITH 1LT BAUMANN. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-04-T-0318 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 7699, business size of $6,000,000.00 and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 811310. GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 16 August 2005 at www.eps.gov . Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136), or e-mail.
