Description

The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB, CA intends to award a sole source contract to Motorola to furnish the following: CLIN0001: (142) each Motorola model NMN6191C Speaker Microphone, noise cancelling with coiled cord (for XTS3000 and XTS5000), CLIN0002: (60) each Motorola model NMN6217B Speaker microphone, standard with coiled cord (for ASTRO SABER), CLIN0003: (3) each Motorola model WPLN4079BR Battery Maintenance system main chassis, holds 6 adapter pockers, CLIN0004: (100) each Motorola model NTN8295AR Spare ultra-high capacity FM approved intresically safe 1525 mAH battery, CLIN0005: (18) each Motorola model WPPN4019AR Adapter pocket for XTS3000 batteries in battery maintenance system main chassis, CLIN0006: (20) each Motorola model 8505644V04 Antenna for public safety speaker microphone, UHF 403-433 MHz (for XTS3000 and XTS5000), CLIN0007: (25)each Motorola model RMN5049A rugged temple transducer headset for HT1000, MT2000, MTS2000, TXS3000, and XTS5000 radios. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 423690 with a business size standard of 500 employees. The proposed contract is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106(b). This notice of intent is not a requiest for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
