- The VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan intends to negotiate sole source with DTE Energy to provide a second physically isolated feed from a second DTE sub-station to our facility; DTE will provide and install a DTE owned and maintained 10MVA transformer on-site; and, provide reserve capacity for our facility on a second primary line enabling this facility the option to use one of two power feeds thereby increasing the level of electrical reliability at this site. Because of the Michigan Public Service Commission publication M.P.S.C. No. 9 the Government believes that DTE Energy is the only company that can provide this service. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, interested parties that believe they can meet these needs must furnish sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement no later than 2:30 pm, 08/12/2005. Information may be sent to the Contracting Officer (506/54C), VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 or via fax to (734) 213-3833. If no responses are received within the period indicated, the VA Ann Arbor will proceed with the sole source negotiation with DTE Energy.
