- The Southern AZ VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS), 3601 S. 6th Avenue Tucson, AZ 85723, has a requirement for Presort Mail Services and Miscellaneous Mail Services. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to provide mail-processing services utilizing Automation Compatible (Auto) for processing, transporting, and pickup of mail, to include: First Class Presort, Presort Flats, Standard Mail (letter size), Priority Mail, Certified/Registered Mail, and various Packages. Prior to release to the United States Postal Service (USPS), all mail shall be picked up, metered, and presorted. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561499. The SBA Size Standard for this NAICS is $6.0 Million. This acquisition is being done in accordance with FAR 19.502-2, Total Small Business Set-Asides. All responsible Small Business sources within a 60-mile radius of Tucson, AZ are encouraged to submit an offer, which will be considered. Local Small Business sources are ideal for this requirement to be able to respond and remain flexible to any urgent mail services required. The solicitation will be released on or about the week of August 12, 2005 and closes a month thereafter. The solicitation will be available electronically at: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/cgi-bin/WebObjects/BosPublic.woa. Any amendments will be available at the same URL and offerors will be responsible for obtaining amendments. Electronic offers will NOT be accepted. All questions MUST be in writing.
