- Provide janitorial services at the Rumford Veterans Clinic, 431 Franklin Street, Rumford, Maine for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical Center, Togus, Maine. General cleaning services are for a multi-story building encompassing the first and third floors. The 1st floor encompasses approximately 3,530 Square Feet. The rooms include an Admin/Reception area, waiting room Nurses Station, 8 exam rooms, 3 Office/Exam rooms 2 labs and three restroom areas. The 3rd floor encompasses approximately 2,250 square feet. The rooms include a waiting room, a reception area, a conference room, 2 offices, 2 office/exam rooms and three restroom areas. Services are to include the following: Each visit: Completely vacuum all carpeting and tile floors. Clean all filing cabinets, tables, window sills. Remove handprints from walls and doors. Clean glass entry door and lobby windows. Clean all inside windows, and window sills. Empty all waste cans and remove trash from building. Completely clean and sanitize bathrooms. Weekly: Vacuum all furniture. Dust high levels (tops of doors, pictures, etc.) Wash tile floors. Physical inspection of work done for quality control. Quarterly (Every three months): Strip and wax tile floors in bathrooms and exam rooms. Shampoo all carpeting. All paper towels, toilet tissue, large and small plastic bags will be supplied by the VA Clinic. All cleaning agents and materials are the responsibility of the cleaning service. VA will be notified of all chemicals in use and stored on site by the cleaning service. Material Safety Data Sheets pertinent to these chemicals will be available at the clinic at all times. Services shall be performed after work hours Monday through Friday. Clinic hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Note 27 applies to this Request for Quoatations.
