- The National Park Service intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price Contract for Lawn Maintenance. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. De Soto National Memorial is located at the north end of 75th Street Northwest, in Bradenton, Manatee County, Florida. It is approximately 25 acres in size. The area that is subject to this contract is approximately 3 acres, including the park entrance, parking area, mall, visitors center and maintenance building. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, fuel, transportation, tools, supplies, supervision, and management necessary to perform mowing and trimming (edging) services at De Soto National Memorial. Work to be executed from October 1, 2005, thru September 30,2006. The contract period will be for 1 year (renewable each year for up to 4 years), from the date of award.This solicitation will be issued electronically, on the Department of Interiors National Business Center (NBC) web site, at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the National Business Center. Proposal documents will be made available in Microsoft Word, HTML and Adobe PDF. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://ideas.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee notification.
