- Description
- The US Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely with Battelle Marine Sciences Laboratory, 439 W. Sequim Bat Road, Sequim, Washington 98382 under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This requirement provides health risk assessments to the US Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine (USACHPPM) to determine the composition and extend of metal and organic chemical contamination, if any, of wat er and sediment/tissue sampling sites at various military installations. USACHPPM personnel will collect samples and forward them to the Battelle Marine Sciences Laboratory for metal/organice measurements.This is a sole source procurement. This contract will be awarded with base year and four option years. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Battelle Marine Sciences Laboratory. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 541380 and the size standard is $10M.
