- This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitues the only solicitation/ proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION ISSUED. In the event of insufficient local business participation, award will be made to the offeror that is most advantageous to the Government. Quotes shall be valid for 30 calendar days. ITEM 0001: 6 each Vehicle Adapter for the PRC-148 Tactical Radio This vehicle adapter (VA) provides 20 watts of RF power amplification across the full 30-512MHz spectrum using a PRC-148C tactical radio. It weighs 12 pounds with the PRC-148 radio inserted and operates with 12-32 VDC input. This VA comes with a 30-512MHz antenna as well as cables to connect to a DC power source.
