Description

Z?This acquisition is for a Firm Fixed Price contract to construct a new right turn lane at the main gate at March Air Reserve Base, California. THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THE SITE VISIT SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 16 2005 HAS BEEN CANCELED. The solicitation will be issued under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The magnitude of the project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 237310 with a size standard of $28,500.000.00. The contractor must be licensed by the State of California in the appropriate classification to be eligible for award. A bid bond is required. The project will be awarded without discussion to the responsible offeror whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government considering price and price-related factors. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about TO BE DETERMINED on Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.FedBizOpps.gov, with a proposal receipt date on or about TO BE DETERMINED. Paper copies will not be available. Fax, telephone, written or email requests for the solicitation package and plan holder will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the website for the release of the solicitation package, as well as any possible amendments that may occur during the solicitation process. NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration may take up to 3 weeks to complete, so we recommend immediate attention to ensure eligibility. For registration, go to http://ccr.gov and follow the instructions. A pre-proposal conference/site visit will be held on TO BE DETERMINED at 9:30 a.m. Interested parties will meet at the March Air Reserve Base parking lot behing Pass & Registration building behind the Main Gate. Potential offerers planning to attend the pre-proposal conference are required to submit the participants name(s) to the individual listed below after the procurement package has been downloaded. This solicitation is unrestricted and all responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the Government.
