Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The SIC is 5065. The NAICS code is 423690. This solicitation serves as the Request for Quotation for the following items: Item 0001: One chairman and one co-chairman microphone (LBB 3330 /00 or equivalent). Item 0002: 48 Delegate Conference Microphones (LBB 3331/00 or equivalent). Item 0003: Control and power supply to support 50 hard wire microphones. Item 0004: 22 wireless microphones (Anchor Audio's UHF-6400 00234X or equ ivalent) used with the FCS TRD Audio System. Item 0005: One Audio mixer (Nady CMX16A 00476 or equivalent) to support the FCS TRD Audio System to include 50 each hardwire microphones and 22 wireless microphones. Item 0006: Shipping Cases and cables: storage cases for microphones. Cable/cable locks: Approximately eight 33-foot sections and eight 16-foot sections. 25 cable locks. Shipping costs. All proposals should contain all costs. Delivery 25 August 2005. Provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Offerors need to include a complete copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations an d Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer (registered in CCR, DUNS Number, Cage Code, and Tax ID Number). The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statues of Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acq uisition. Clauses include: 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 52.222-37, Employment Reports of Disabled Veterans an d Veterans of the Vietnam Era; and 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration.
