- The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, is seeking a contractor to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment and supplies to perform and complete all work necessary for Maintenance Building Renovation, Project No. 895CM3026 at the Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, California as required by drawings and specifications. The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed-price construction contract. Work to be completed within 365 days.. NAICS Code 236220/size standard: $28.5 million. The anticipated cost range is $2,000,000 to $5,000,000. SOLICTITATION IS RESTRICTED AS A COMPETITIVE ACQUISITION LIMITED TO SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. Solicitation will be made available after August 19, 2005. Electronic solicitations are not available. Requests for hard copy drawings and specifications shall be in writing to the Contracting Officer (National Cemetery Administration, Attn: Dana W. Ivey, 811 Vermont Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20420). Offerors will be charged $125.00 non-refundable deposit for each set of drawings and specs. Deposit must be in the form of a certified check, cashier?s check, or money order, made payable to the ?Department of Veterans Affairs.? All requests shall be on company letterhead to include point of contact, physical mailing address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies of the amendments will NOT be individually mailed. By registering for the Register to Receive Notification list at http://www.fedbizopps.gov, you will be notified by e-mail of any new amendments that have been issued and posted. No other notification of amendments will be provided. Potential bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging any amendments to the solicitation. A Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit is proposed for September 7, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. pacific time at the Administration Building, Golden Gate National Cemetery, 1300 Sneath Lane, San Bruno, CA.
