- UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries intends to negotiate a sole source agreement with Maximus, Inc., of Wayne, PA for Kiosk workstations to be integrated into the current Vehicle Management Information System being utilized by Federal Prison Industries (FPI) on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and United States Border Patrol (BP). This equipment is designed for integration into the system for maintenance centers and enhancement for tracking all maintenance and configured to the VMIS. This equipment will increase the accuracy and timeliness of maintenance data and the efficiency of labor at the respective centers. Currently, UNICOR provides Fleet Management services for vehicles used by the United States Border Patrol and DHS. A justification for other than full and open competition is on file. No solicitation documents are available and requests for such will not be acknowledged. The determination not to open competition is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone inquires will be accepted. It is anticipated that a sole source purchase order will be awarded as specified in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Par 13. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. Closing date is August 10, 2005.
