- Description
- The Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, Florida, is seeking a contractor to provide the service of Native American Elder. Offerors must possess certification or written approval from their Native American Indian Council or Tribe. Contractors responding to the RFQ must complete and submit along with their quote the form included in the solicitation, Credentials of Religious Services Contractor, and provide a letter of endorsement from their local religious organization indicating their good standings. Two personal reference letters are also required with the contractor?s quote. The resulting contract will be for a base period, not to exceed twelve months, with four one-year option periods to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government. The number of six hour sessions per year is estimated at 56, depending on the actual date of award and availability of funds. The solicitation will be available on or around August 09, 2005 and will be distributed through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed unless determined by the contracting officer to be in the best interest of the government. Future information about this acquisition, including any amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 813110. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit an offer that will be considered for award. Faith based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
